    Interesting topic, I hope you are able to find the anwers you are looking for. About leishmania, where does the parasite originate from and what are the conditions for an ideal host (for example is an individial a certain factor such as being a child, having iron deficiency, etc. less able to fight off the parasite, making them a more suitiable host)?

    I am also curious about transmission of leishmania.  Are there ways to target the parasite before transmission occurs?

    Awesome video. I was wondering how leishmania is transmitted and if it can infect other species besides humans.
